is the current Director-General of IPharm, having previously headed the National Poison Center in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Isa, a native of Bukit Mertajam, Penang, completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Bath, U.K., and began his career as a lecturer at the USM School of Pharmacy in 1988.

Dr. Mohd Ilham Adenan
is currently the Director of IPharm's Bio-Screening Division. A native of Perak, Dr. Ilham completed his Ph.D. in Bioactive Natural Product Chemistry from the University of Okayama, Japan, and began his career as a researcher at the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia prior to joining IPharm.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Chong Shu Chien
joins IPharm to lead Assay Development Division, having been seconded from the School of Biology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Hailing from the state of Sabah, Dr. Chong began his career as a researcher with USM, having successfully completed his Ph.D. there. His research interests include developmental biology and aquaculture.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habibah A. Wahab
is the Director of the Hits-to-Lead Division at IPharm. Prior to joining IPharm, she was attached to the School of Pharmacy, Universiti Sains Malaysia, where she gravitated to the position of Deputy Dean. Dr. Habibah's research interests are drug formulation, drug design and structural modelling.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amirul Al-Ashraf Abdullah
previously from the School of Biological Sciences in Universiti Sains Malaysia, joins IPharm as the Director of the Bioprocess Division. His research interests include the production of microbial biopolymers such as P3HB, P4HB and P3HB-co-4HB as well as production and application of amylolitics and PHA depolymerase enzymes.
