Penang, 10th December 2011 - The Penang International Science Fair was recently held at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) on 10th December 2011, which attracted more than 5,000 visitors comprising mainly of students and parents. It was organized in line with the State Government's commitment to ignite the spirit of innovation and nurture entrepreneurship in our young as they progress and enter into their careers in the advanced technology industries.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has indicated and gave compliment to the collaborative efforts of both the state and the Penang Science Council (PSC). It was also a great opportunity for the companies to showcase what goes on the inside during industrial fairs.

This had allowed the public to take a peek into the technologies of the companies. Researchers from IPharm who participated in Penang International Science Fair showcased IPharm's current and upcoming projects to generate interests and trust among industrialist and the general public. Generally, all the projects presented were well received by the audience and potential collaborations were perceived.
