Seminar on Safety In The Use of Chemicals

Penang, 18 Jan 2010 – A two-days course on "Safety in The Use of Chemicals" was successfully held at IPharm's seminar room. The course was conducted by the National Institute of Occupational and Safety (NIOSH) and was participated by all the technical personnel of the institute.

The speaker, En. Mohd Arif Baba, focused on the importance of proper handling of chemicals and safety precautions to be taken while undertaking this task to the participants. Besides that, he also emphasized on chemical storage efficiency and chemical waste management. The course ended with a group presentation by the participants.

2010 IPHARM Top Management Retreat

Penang, 27 Jan 2010 – A two day retreat involving IPHARM's top management staff was held on the 7th of January 2010 to discuss and plan IPHARM's direction and corresponding activities for the year 2010. Various aspects of R & D, commercialization of scientific discoveries and administrative matters were discussed during the session.
